Harvey Guillén

Harvey Guillén currently stars in What We Do In the Shadows for FX. He has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Guillermo on the hit show, and the Hollywood Reporter named him a “Major Threat” for the 2020 Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Harvey was born and raised in a Mexican American household in Southern California, the second oldest of five children. He grew up performing in the theatre from the age of six, when he collected cans to raise the money for his first acting class at the YMCA. He’s been hooked ever since.

He attended Citrus College, where he was a member of the world-renowned Citrus Singers choir. Harvey completed his training at the American Musical Dramatic Academy, then went on to perform in major musical productions of Wicked, Sesame Street and Blues Brothers in Japan. All in Japanese!

Harvey has been a series regular on MTV’S Eye Candy and ABC Family’s Huge. He has recurred on SyFy Network’s The Magicians, Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans, CW’s Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Netflix’s Haters Back Off. He starred in The Internship alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and the hit music video for Lady Gaga’s Emmy-winning, Oscar- and Grammy-nominated single, “Til It Happens to You.” He can also be seen in Status Update alongside Ross Lynch, Gregg Sulkin and Olivia Holt.

Harvey is the recipient of a GLAAD award for his work on Raising Hope.
